Misys achieves top spot from Aite Group in Supply Chain Financing

Misysplc (FTSE: MSY.L), the global application software and services company, today announces that it has achieved the top score from Aite Group’s analysis of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) Software Vendors. The report examines the extent to which companies are mature as SCF enablers and in developing SCF components.

Misys was recognised for its robust coverage of 100% of SCF components through its award winning solutions, Misys Trade Portal and Misys TI Plus. Together, the two solutions provide a complete solution for front-to-back office transaction banking. Misys was also noted as the company to benchmark for any SCF competitive analysis and go-to-market strategy.

“This is a great endorsement of our product portfolio and strategy in Supply Chain Finance,” states Olivier Berthier, Global Solutions Director, Transaction Banking, Misys. “Misys Trade Portal and Trade Innovation are award winning solutions that help banks to provide simple and flexible financing options and clearly Aite Group agrees that our approach is leading the market.”

The Misys portfolio received high marks during the evaluation from Aite Group and includes reverse factoring, dynamic discounting, invoice finance, and discounting. It also goes beyond open-account to cover LCs and guarantees. A collaboration tool that allows users to establish a structured transactional ‘chat room’ that helps buyer, seller, and banker discuss and collaborate while executing the transaction was also highlighted as a valuable infrastructure feature.

The survey by Aite Group covered a variety of topics, including target markets, software functionalities, delivery models, client segmentation, revenue range, pricing models, and partnership strategies.
