Goodrich Team Inducted into Small Business Innovation Research Hall of Fame

CHARLOTTE, N.C., -- Sensors Unlimited, part of Goodrich Corporation's (GR) ISR Systems business, has been inducted into the Small Business Administration's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Hall of Fame.

The SBIR Hall of Fame awards are given to firms with a long period of extraordinary success in research, innovation and commercialization. In recognition of this, a member of the Princeton, N.J.-based Sensors Unlimited team accepted an award at the White House executive office building on April 24, 2012.

"At Sensors Unlimited we have always worked to translate the funding from SBIR programs directly into commercialized product and technology advances which benefit Goodrich and our customers beyond the period of the program," said John Trezza, vice president of Goodrich's ISR Systems business. The SBIR funding has helped Sensors Unlimited develop innovative shortwave infrared imager technology for military, industrial and medical applications which are significant contributions to the broad ISR Systems product portfolio.

Sensors Unlimited has benefited from the SBIR program as it fosters technical leadership, growth, jobs and international competitiveness.
