Workshop A

Cash in on Renewable Energy -The government purchases more goods and services than ever before yet few women and minority suppliers understand how to capitalize on numerous opportunities that go to mainstream companies. A recent proposal by the Small Business Administration, if implemented, will expand access for women in government contracting and help level the playing field. This workshop will provide the kinds of information and tools to give you an edge on the competition.

Expanding Access to Government Contracting Opportunities - The drive to reduce America’s dependence on imported oil is opening up new opportunities in areas such as solar energy, wind, hydro, lithium batteries and much more. There has never been a better time since the industrial revolution to cash in a new paradigm shift, and eager suppliers and utility companies are spending tens of billions of dollars to come up with alternative forms of energy.
