At A/Del Inc., building a
competitive advantage one customer at a time
-By Chantae Benson |
Rita Rivas, CEO of A/DEL Inc., believes
that forming strong relationships with clientele and strategic
alliances is the key to success. This formula has taken
the company from a one-press mail house operation into a
$5.5 million company of approximately 25 employees.
The company started in 1966 yet Rivas
became the president in 1991 after taking over the business
from her husband. Rivas, a visionary, set out to transform
the company into a state of the art facility providing quality
printing and quality services. Introducing digital pre-press
and direct to plate printing was only one of the immediate
changes Rivas made when taking over the company.
At a time when many companies were merging,
Rivas chose to develop strategic alliances with ancillary
graphic service providers to create a one-stop shopping
center for clientele. Among the services A/DEL offers are:
premiums and ad specialties and point-of-sale on various
materials and fulfillment. All these services fall under
one umbrella to create A/DEL Group. A/DEL takes a proactive
approach to meeting client’s needs; they handle each
phase of the clients project from intake and pre-press through
production and delivery.
