The Secret to a Great Golf Game: Practice, Practice, Practice!!!
- James McAfee
Ben Hogan’s secret? Lots of time on the practice
range and putting green, working on his game. Today’s
golf professionals do the same. Most amateurs do not spend
enough time practicing. Of course, there’s more
to improving than just beating ball after ball on the
range. That’s just practicing your mistakes!
Try to make your practice sessions similar to a round
of golf. So this means not just hitting drivers time after
time. A better idea is to mix up the clubs just like it
is on the course, hitting a driver and then an iron, for
example. Always aim for a target, too. That gives you
an idea of how good you are doing. Use a club to make
sure your feet are parallel to your intended target line.
If you can, experiment moving the ball to the target by
hitting fades and draws or slices and hooks.
