SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill.-The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) announced a new partnership with the United Service Organizations (USO) Transition 360 Alliance at a transition summit held at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
The partnership is a significant moment for the military hiring community as it marks the joining of two organizations with longstanding records of service to the military community. HOH and the USO will co-host all HOH transition summits on installations throughout the rest of 2016 and into 2017.
“The USO has long been a standard bearer when it comes to supporting our nation’s service members and their families, and through the USO Transition 360 Alliance they’re working to extend that support to recently transitioned veterans,” said Eric Eversole, U.S. Chamber of Commerce vice president and Hiring Our Heroes president. “We’re proud to be working with the Alliance to bring top-quality transition programming to even more service members, veterans and military families.”
