Company signs CEO Action pledge, celebrates outstanding workplace diversity achievements and sharpens focus on key areas of diversity & inclusion growth
CHICAGO--USG Corporation (NYSE: USG), an industry-leading manufacturer of building products and innovative solutions, is proud to announce a series of initiatives that further strengthen the company’s commitment
to Diversity & Inclusion and celebrates the values and priorities of the
business, its employees and its partners.
As part of this continued focus, USG will host its 10
th
Annual Diversity & Inclusion Champions Recognition Ceremony on April 17
to celebrate employees and select partners and customers who go above
and beyond to be inclusive in the workplace. At the event, USG will
honor its Diversity & Inclusion Supplier of the Year, Archer Daniels
Midland Company (ADM), and Diversity & Inclusion Customer of the Year,
Gensler.

crucial to cultivating an engaged and innovative workforce focused on
advancing our strategic objectives,” said Jennifer Scanlon, president
and chief executive officer of USG Corporation. “Diversity and inclusion
enables us to attract and retain talented employees, connect with an
increasingly diverse customer base and improve our ability to understand
and compete in global markets.”
To affirm the company’s focus on diversity & inclusion growth, Ms.
Scanlon signed the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™ pledge – the
largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity & inclusion
in the workforce.
Scanlon continued, “We are proud to celebrate the important

Central to the company’s commitment is its continued support of STEM
(science, technology, engineering and math) education for young women
